PzKpfw II Ausf. D

Brief description of the construction process of a wargaming kit released in the “September 1939” series. Almost “out of the box”, almost. Enjoy.
Egg Sixteen
Hasegawa’s model kits are highly regarded among modellers. Whether this is deserved – I have no idea. As it so happens, I haven’t built anything from this manufacturer’s range so far. Now I have finally decided to change that.
Starfighter for two

Non 1/72 scale models aren’t frequent guest on my workbench. I have however few kits of this variety in my storage, collecting layers of dust. Why I bought them? Don’t know, really. Usually I just ignore those when I choose another subject to build, but not this time. Shamefully, I betrayed my sweet seventy-two with a German midget.
Long range Spitfire

I probably know what you think- “Another Spitfire? Not again...” But stay with me, I'll try not to bore you to death. The embarrassing truth is that I never built a miniature of this iconic machine before. Yup, shame on me. So not really “another”, for me at least.
Peculiar Polikarpov

I honestly don’t remember what prompted me to reach for the ICM kit. The subject matter? Quality? None of that for sure. Whatever it was- resulted in a miniature of rather unpopular aircraft in even less common configuration. The construction process itself however, didn’t go without some complications.
72nd Zero

Famous “Zero”, or maybe I should say “Zeke” or “Rei-sen”... Anyway, does it really need an introduction? Don’t think so. There is also quite a few kits to choose from, if you want to build A6M2 in my favourite 1:72 scale. For example recent proposition from Brits, which I decided to build.
